On Thursday January 27, 2005, Viota Gallery will present a group exposition of its exclusive artists entitled “Colectiva Mediano Formato - Tributo a las Pinturas de Caballete” (“Tribute to the Easel Painting”). This format was made popular by the Great Masters of Impressionism because it was the perfect fit for the working easel. Our artists be inspired by the size, the technique, and colors of the works made famous by the artists of that era.

In this exposition, curated by the Gallery’s director, our artists will merge the classic with the contemporary and the ancient with the modern, where a dialogue is created between an artist that we know with another from that time in history. All works are fresh and new and will include paintings, constructions, sculptures and compositions.
